Golden Milk Frappuccino

It may be cold outside, but this Golden Milk Frappuccino will warm your soul! With anti-inflammatory spices, a hint of black pepper, a subtle sweetness from organic dates, and a heap of invisible fiber, your body will thank you.

Did You Know?

Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant that prevents inflammation at the molecular level. Additionally, it has been linked to improved brain function, improvement in joint pain, and even depression.

Having a little black pepper (which contains the compound piperine)  with your turmeric will block the absorption of turmeric by the gut and liver, thus, allowing greater absorption to remain in the body. Therefore, a little black pepper will enhance the effects of turmeric.

Make it Flavorful

You can certainly make your own golden spice mixture, however, our favorite is Organic and pre-mixed. Let’s face its, life is busy enough. When it comes to living a life unprocessed, I will take shortcuts when I can because they are few and far-between!

Additionally, a bit of healthy fat makes this frap satisfying, as well as increases the absorption of turmeric. Not to mention, coconut oil passes the blood brain barrier, providing quick brain energy. Our absolute favorite are these convenient to-go packs of coconut oil and ghee. The ghee is derived from pasture-raised and grass fed cows. It’s also lactose and casein free, for those who have concerns with dairy allergies. Lastly, it needs no refrigeration! Success.

Lastly, if you have not checked out our homemade almond milk, you are in for a real treat!
