If you’re like me, mornings run somewhere between a marathon and a sprint, both of which require preparation, loss of energy, and utter exhaustion! Backpacks, lunch boxes, dog food, underwear battles, missing shoes, missed alarm clocks, forgotten homework, unexpected guests. Time for a hot, home-cooked meal? Not a chance. Does that mean we skip the most important meal of the day? Not a chance.
These overnight oats are packed with omega-rich chia seeds, healthy nuts, fiber and antioxidant rich fruits, not to mention, a burst of flavor without any side effects.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Cup rolled oats
- 1/2 Cup homemade almond milk or milk of choice
- 1 tbsp Chia seeds
- Optional Toppings/Mix-Ins:
- Banana
- Raisons
- Cinnamon
- Cacao
- Vanilla
- Raspberries/Blueberries
- Coconut
- Chocolate Chips
