Sunrise Booster Smoothie

Who couldn’t use a quick shot of Vitamin C, fiber, and protein to start their day? With around 10 (plus) grams of fiber, this is sure to get more than just your morning moving! This recipe is nothing short of a party in your mouth. Whenever anyone in my house is getting a sore throat, the request for this Vitamin C booster is in high demand. Start your first glimpse of sunrise with this smoothie and you will enjoy that first morning light, twice!

Ingredients
  1. • 1/2 to 1 organic banana, depending on desired level of sweetness
  2. • 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  3. • 1 organic orange (peeled, of course)
  4. • 3/4 cup homemade almond milk, homemade coconut milk, or milk of choice.
  5. • 1 tsp organic vanilla extract
  6. • 1 organic carrot, chopped
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Turn blender to low and add in a serving of your favorite protein powder.
